The Story
Where the music comes from
Let me tell you a little story, there's this guy who after working all day Saturday goes by his mother's house just to say hi and share a cup of coffee, he gets on the highway heading north like he usually does. He's driving enjoying his favorite music, the highway splits in two, he knows where he has to go, but without knowing why he makes the wrong turn, he tells himself it does not matter I'll get out at the next exit and head home. As he is driving on the wrong highway he comes to a toll booth, he sees that traffic is a little pack on the left so he goes to the far right pays his toll and drives on, as he's coming out the toll there is this familiar car coming out of the left end of the toll, this car approaches and there is this beautiful women inside she has the smile of an angel, she rolls down her window, she trying to say something but he can understand, it's something like thank you, he signals back I'm sorry I can't hear, she drives away very fast, he keeps driving getting ready to exit but he can't, he needs to see that smile again.
That feeling — the pull of something you can't explain, the moment that changes everything — is where Rhythm & Love was born. Every song on the album is a chapter of that story. Love found in unexpected places, held close, and turned into melody.
Rooted in soul and shaped by romance, the music draws from the quiet power of vulnerability. These aren't just songs — they're moments you'll return to again and again.
“Sometimes the wrong turn leads you in the right direction, exactly where you were meant to be.”
